What is the difference between a state government job and a central government job?

STATE GOVERNMENT JOB AND CENTRAL GOVERNMENT JOB  

Central government work is done in the name of president whereas state government work is done in the name of governor. The central employee has all India service liability it cover whole of India whereas, in the state government, the employee is restricted within that state.

The appointing authority for Central service in President of India or their Subordinate officer. The appointing authority for State employees is either governer of that state or their subordinate officer.
