What is the best book for Kerala PSC?

What is the best book for Kerala PSC?
Yeah, that depends on the text you’re attempting to crack. The choice, generally speaking, is like this:
1. You are a person who, once in a while, reads news stories from your school days and books related to GK. Via news channels, you also keep track of major events around the world/ India/Kerala. You are one who really has an interest in GK—anything.
2. You are someone who just reads textbooks from school because you have to study and not be really conscious of the things happening on this planet. In India/Kerala, you are totally blank on historical as well as pioneering cases. You still have no idea about the main characters and their contributions to society.
If you belong to category 1, get the books below:
- (Mathrubhumi/Manorama) Year Book
- A GK Questions book that promises such coverage
- A book that says it will assist with the exam you are taking. There is no particular book and to cover full questions, you can need to purchase several books. So consider covering books as well as historical query papers from all publishers/coaching institutes. It is a very bad idea to focus on a single book. The explanation is listed below.
- Mathrubhumi and Manorama coaching equipment – I think it’s called Thozhilvartha or something.
- If No. 5 does not include the problems related to aptitude/small math requested in these tests, get one for that, too. Or search for a book that’s also included.
- If you are in English grammar for the week, get a book for that as well (Get information on this exam structure from No.4)
ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ കോട്ടൺ തുണി മില്ലുകൾ ഉള്ള ഇന്ത്യയിലെ സംസ്ഥാനം
You should be able to crack it pretty quickly if you read these books and religiously observe No. 4 and practice it. If you cover these extensively, the marks will not be your contest, it will be the sheer number of candidates. Aim for excellence, then.
Now, if you belong to category 2, then, uh, group 2,
- Mathrubhumi and Manorama coaching materials – obey and receive a subscription at home
- Enter a coaching class at PSC. Nothing that is capable of saving you. They will help you inject your brain with this material – just to crack the test
I belonged to group 1 and just spent 1 week preparing for it. What was difficult for me was the grammar section of Malayalam. I think my rating was ~268 (LDC). But a long time ago, I left that job. So this is another story.
I’m not sure which exam you’re aiming for. If you concentrate, however, it is not a difficult objective. Know that your challenge will be a large number of applicants and so strive to get full marks.
Hope I see you sitting when I visit one of those government offices to get a signature for some document. The best of all for your plans!
