There are some differences between plus two-level and degree level PSC examination.

One of the major differences in the medium of the Exam. That means for, plus two-level, Malayalam is the medium of the question except for the English Section. But in the case of degree level, the medium of question is English except for Malayalam Section.

Plus two level exams are ;

1. LDC (Lower Division Clerk)
2. Civil Police Officer (constable)
3. LGS ( Last Grade Servant)
4. Fireman (trainee)
5. prison officer
6. Beat forest officer etc

Degree level exams are ;

1. Secretariat assistant
2. University Assistant
3. Asst Grade-II (Govt owned Company/Board Corporations)
4. Kerala Administrative Service ( KAS) etc

For plus two-level;

General knowledge: 60 Marks

Mathematics: 20 Marks

English: 20

For Degree Level ;

Quantitative Aptitude (QA) : 10 Marks

Test of Reasoning: 10 Marks

Current Affairs ( CA ): 10 Marks

General Science: 10 Marks

Facts about India: 10 Marks

Fact about Kerala: 10 Marks

Constitution: 10 Marks

General English: 10 Marks

Language ( Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada ) : 10 Marks

IT and cyber laws: 10 Marks
